Wrap Process
The wrap process is how we seamlessly move your school’s existing website content into your new design—no downtime, no rebuilding, no manual copying.
Implementation Steps
Step 1: Sign Contract
Sign your contract with your FACTS sales representative.
Step 2: Onboarding Kickoff
Your FACTS onboarding specialist will reach out to begin your project and guide you through the process.
Step 3: Select Your New Website Template
Choose the design that best fits your school’s needs. Website Services Themes - FACTS Management
Step 4: Content Transfer (During the Scheduled Wrap Time)
We will take all information, context, and images from the inside pages of your current website and place them into your new site—no starting from scratch or manually transferring content.
Step 5: Schedule Your Wrap + Go‑Live Window
* Your onboarding specialist will schedule a wrap + go-live time that works for you and your school.
* As the new design goes live, there may be a short transition period where the site’s appearance is temporarily inconsistent.
* This transition takes approximately 30 minutes.
Step 6: Home Page Setup
Your new website template includes new home page tools that help increase traffic and improve visitor engagement.
During the wrap:
* Most tools will be inactivated from showing initially.
* We will populate the basic required elements—such as a hero slideshow image and utility links—so your home page is not blank.
* Once the wrap is complete, you can begin personalizing your home page right away. Check out the video in Step 7 to see just how simple editing your home page can be.
Step 7: Post‑Wrap Editing in Site Manager
Once the wrap is complete, you can log in to Site Manager and use our Easy Editor tool to make any tweaks or updates you’d like. Here is a quick overview of the Easy Editor functionality
Step 8: 30‑Day Post‑Wrap Revisions
You have 30 days after the wrap to request the following FACTS‑side changes:
* Color changes
* Top navigation category adjustments
* Accreditation logo updates (except the Zenith template, which lets you switch logos yourself)
After 30 days, your design project will be closed, and any additional revisions will follow the standard developer fee schedule through Support.
Step 9: Optional Training
You may choose to schedule training with our Support team to learn how to add content to your new home page tools.
Each tool also includes step‑by‑step written instructions to guide you.
Enhancements You Can Expect
Schools moving from older templates will enjoy several major improvements:
* Ability to update header and footer logos directly within the CMS (template‑dependent)
* Ability to update section headings, utility links, and home page buttons
* Ability to update social media URLs and address information
* Home page tools now include clear instructions for use
* Ability to inactivate home page tools you do not wish to use
