Choose your Template
Please make sure to review the noted resources below, that are included on each template, to make sure it is a good fit for you as each template has different features and requirements:
- The Design Notes tab at the bottom of the demo site.
- The “Theme Specifications” page under the About category in each template, breaks down header and footer logo requirements, colors, hero section functioning, fonts, and tool options, etc.
Note: Switching to a different template, after one has been implemented (during the design phase), is an additional $150 fee.

Choose your Colors
Based on which template you chose and how many color options it can have, you will now submit the color values you would like to use.
Our templates follow a "paint-by-number" approach, meaning colors are assigned to specific areas automatically. Individual color placement cannot be changed.
Requirements:
- Your primary color must meet a 4.5:1 contrast ratio (ADA/WCAG)
- White or off-white tones cannot be used as a color option
- Provide colors using Hex Values
Please use the “Color Customizer” at the bottom of the template you chose to pick the colors you'd like to use, noting what is stated in the requirements above.

Choose your Main Navigation Categories
- Enter up to 7 main navigation categories, separated by commas (example: About, Admissions, etc) OR say “Use Current Navigation”
- If you opt to change your top navigation from the current, know that you will need to move pages or create new content under these categories after the wrap is complete or we can create the new categories ahead of time to be put in use during the wrap.
- Keep each title to 12 characters or fewer. Note: longer titles like "Advancement Opportunities" count as 2 categories toward your total.
Note: Pages under the categories are fully editable by you (create, delete, move, etc) in the CMS, but the main navigation names are hard coded and must be set by a developer.

Header and Footer Logos
Before uploading, review your template's logo specifications on the Theme Specifications page (found under About on each demo site). Requirements vary — for example, some templates require an all-white logo or a more horizontal logo (true for most templates) would work best to maximize the allotted spaces.
Note: Logos can be swapped out anytime in your CMS by you, so if you do not currently have a logo that you'd like to provide, your typeset school name will appear on the website for the time being and you can put them in place later.
When uploading your logos below, if you'd like to use the same logo for the header and footer (if your template has one), you only need to upload the file once.

Accreditation Logos
If you chose Aurora, Zenith or Prevail as your template - you will have a tool within the CMS that you can upload them into, therefore you may skip this step.
If you chose any other templates - the developer will put them in place at the time of the implementation.
Guidelines for them:
- A maximum of 4 accreditation/affiliate/association logo image files (not text) can be added to the footer and linked to accrediting agency.
- Accreditation logos must have a transparent background and contrast well against the background of the template footer, so be mindful of uploading all white or colored versions based on the footer color (white or your primary color) based on the template you chose.
- Logos that are square or only slightly rectangular work best.

Search Feature
Google's Programmable Search Engine (PSE) powers the search bar on your site. It's free to set up (with ads) and scopes results to your content only — no outside websites. The Search Engine ID is the unique code Google gives you once it's created, and it's what connects the search function to your site.
There are options to obtain it without ads, if you have Google Classroom for example, but you would need to contact Google for more information; we only set up the widget to work on our websites - we do not offer support for it.
Steps to obtain your Google Search ID
Note: If you would like to include a search but want to provide us the code at a later time, you can still proceed to finish this form. Not having your Search ID provided to us will not hold up implementing your website.

School Store
Many schools want a convenient way to sell branded apparel and spirit wear online. FACTS can help with this! Our partner, Athletic Solutions, will build an online custom store for your school—at no cost to you.
You’ll work directly with their team to design your store, and we’ll help you add it to your FACTS website when it’s ready. Your store can even serve as a fundraising opportunity, with a portion of each sale going back to your school.
You can fill out an interest form here!

Schedule Your Wrap
Your Wrap Day:
On your chosen date, we'll apply your new design to your live public-facing site. Our developer will activate a Site Wide Alert notifying visitors that a design change is in progress — you're welcome to add this yourself ahead of the scheduled date if you prefer.
What to Expect:
Most home page tools will be set to inactive, as we can't know exactly what content your school wants to use — but it will still be functional with some content from your old design (utility links, hero image/video, calendar, announcements, etc.). No changes will be made to the pages or inside content, aside from having the new design “wrapped” around them. For full details, see the Promo Wrap Process.
Revisions:
You'll have 2 rounds of revisions for colors and top navigation, which must be submitted within 30 days of your wrap date. Changes requested after 30 days will incur a fee.
On The Wrap Day:
- Plan to be available after the wrap to add home page content, as your new design will be live immediately.
- Stay logged out of Site Manager for the duration of the wrap (~1 hour)
Schedule Your Wrap
Please provide 2–3 preferred dates.
Note:
- Wraps are not scheduled on Fridays
- All wraps must be completed by Thursday, May 28, 2026 — this deadline ensures we can keep your project on track before our development team transitions to other large scheduled projects.

Training?
Since your new design will be live immediately, you may want to acquaint yourself with the Site Manager with help from our support team. You have options!
Your options include:
- No training needed
- Option 1 - An abbreviated or "micro" training with a member of our support team, focusing on the new home page design to become familiar with the new tools.
- Option 2 - You can also register for semi live on training here (Semi live includes pre-recorded training but a support team member is available to answer questions. The semi live trainings are a general overview and do not speak to any one particular design.)
- Option 3 - You can register for an on-demand training here (Please note: The on demand training are a general overview and do not speak to any one particular design.)
- Option 4 - You can also schedule a live training or Q&A session with a team member in addition to the recorded training.
Also, the homepage tools on the new design will have explicit instructions on how to add content, so a full training may not be required, based upon your past Site Manager experience.

Understanding & Agreement
Important: Please review each item carefully to understand the process and expectations moving forward.
Main Navigation
- Main navigation titles are not client-editable after setup. Changes to these titles can be made by an engineer for an additional fee. Pages within the navigation (levels 1, 2, and 3 sub-navigation) are client-editable.
Theme Selection Considerations
- Once design work has begun, switching to a different theme will result in additional fees. Please consider all aspects of a template when making a choice, so that it best fits your organization's wants and needs.
Template Limitations & Content Editing
- Layouts and tool options in the header, footer, and homepage are defined by the template and cannot be modified. However, you may deactivate homepage tools you do not wish to use. All content—including text, headings, images, videos, and links—is editable by you.
Fonts
- Fonts are set by the template design and cannot be changed.
Post-Design Changes
- While most website content is client-editable, some changes require developer assistance. After the design process is complete and the site is released to you, requests such as modifying top-level navigation, swapping out colors, or other selective changes will be subject to additional fees for developer time.
Fees
- All fees are nonrefundable.
